Everything is tickety-boo with our phone system again!
Ahhhhh, those dulcet tones!

While we have identified the problem with our phones (a line spike took out the brain of our system, called a KSU), it’s not a simple or quick fix.
The technicians are here, working away, but we may be without phones for the remainder of the day.
In the meantime, a little levity seems appropriate...
My heart aches, and an uneasy void pains
My senses, as though cotton filled my ears,
Oh silenced! Those dulcet tones, no refrain!
Day and night past, and chirping is all I hear.
'Tis not thy fault, you served long and well,
But being at the whim of spark and surge,
Thou hast battled and lost, valiant one.
Yet, in dying, customers repel.
Do not begrudge the ease with which we purge,
Your praises will, forevermore, be sung.
